Frequently Asked Questions About Fabitherapy

OT helps kids who have a physical, sensory, or cognitive disability. It helps them do everyday things like eating, putting on shoes and socks, focusing on learning, writing, and playing with toys or other kids.

Some parents and other professionals need help with children’s:

  • behavior (biting, pushing, throwing him/her self on the floor, having constant tantrums, being defiant among others at home or at school)
  • social skills (playing appropriately with other children)
  • play skills (knowing how to initiate an activity, play alone, play with others, sharing, taking turns…)
  • gross motor and fine motor skills (such as running, jumping, climbing, writing…)
  • Independence of activities of daily living (eating, dressing, brushing teeth, doing homework independently)
  • Sensory needs (attention, ability to regulate, sensitivity to food, clothing, textures, trying new things, showering, nail trimming, cutting hair, inflexibility…)

My coaching is for parents and other professionals who need GUIDE, gain KNOWLEDGE about children’s “issues”, and SUPPORT. In the session, you will end up with tools, ideas, and a plan of action on what to do with your child’s difficulties either at home or at school.
